Leanne - Raspberry Fizz

Congratulations to new baker Leanne who made the gorgeous Raspberry Fizz cupcakes. These were raspberry and champagne cupcakes with white chocolate and coconut, dulche de leche ganache and a vanilla bean topping. Great looking and absolutely delicious. Leanne won the exclusive IronCupcake:Leeds canvas bag, a £30 Jamie's Italian restaurant voucher, Eat Me! recipe book, a cupcake notepad kindly donated by Anji, our resident card lady, some cupcake cases & goodies kindly donated by CupcakeCatwalk and free entry to next months competition!

2nd Place

       Mark - Mixed Summer Berry Cupcakes   

 Congratulations to another new baker, Mark from Sesame who made the delightful mixed summer berry cupcakes. These had a raspberry ripple style base and mixed fruit coulis centre, topped with fresh currants, strawberries, and a drizzle of summer berry juice. Divine.

These were a strawberry and almond sponge, with marshmallow icing topped with summer berries, sat in a sugar syrup basket.

Matthew's Strawberry Pavlova cupcakes - Strawberry and meringue sponge with strawberry cuttercream and meringue sprinkles

Sophie's Black Forest Cupcakes - Chocolate and brandy sponge filled with a cherry conserve with a morello cherry buttercream and topped with a cherry and white chocolate heart

Becs's 1st entry of the night - Black Forest Gateaux. These cupcakes are a chocolate and cherry sponge with a kirsch and fresh cream topping finished with chocolate sprinkles and a cherry

Lucy's Berry Temptation - Dark chocolate and raspberry sponge with whipped cream icing and a fresh juicy raspberry on top

Leanne's Bramble Berry Cupcakes - Raspberry, blackberry and semolina cakes topped with mascarpone & marshmallow fluff finished with chocolate coated berries.

My mum's Very Berry good cupcakes - Strawberry sponge topped with strawberry icing and a chocolate dipped fresh strawberry and an ickle meringue.

Hayley's Summerberry Crumble cakes - The sponge was filled with summer berry jam with a custard and crumble topping decorated with some sparkly glitter

Sarah's Summer Berry Crumble Cupcakes - Vanilla sponge with a crumble topping and italian meringue buttercream finished with the most delicious summer berries

Sarah's Berry and White chocolate cupcakes - Berry and white chocolate sponge with marshmallow buttercream topped with a fresh strawberry

Mike's Tayberry & Raspberry cupcakes - Tayberry and raspberry sponge with a tayberry and white chocolate mousse drizzled with chocolate and topped with a raspberry

Bec's 2nd entry of the night - Eaton Mess Cupcakes - Vanilla and strawberry puree sponge topped with buttercream and finished with meringu pieces and a big juicy strawberry

Winner Leanne's 2nd entry - Strawberry Fields - Chocolate Cupcake with strawberry cream mousse, chocolate fudge ganache and a strawberry buttercream topping.
